Trick or Treating…actually good for you?

Halloween is right around the corner, with that there will be a lot of walking door to door. Just because your physical activity didn’t take place in a gym, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t count. An average Halloween goer walks about 5 miles over 2 hours of trick or treating. That’s a lot of walking!

Walking is an excellent way to stay physically active without breaking the bank. Walking has a lot of added benefits; it makes you feel better, it lowers stress, it increases your energy and improves your mental alertness.
